Welcome to the Music For Hop Blog! We are a non-profit blog started in correlation with The American Cancer Society. Our goal is to create a community of love, hope, support, and creativity based around one main goal: FIND A CURE...while rocking our faces off! Be on the lookout for us in your community at various shows, venues, and events. While we are based out of Pennsylvania, we hope to expand greatly as we recruit more music lovers and cancer fighters over the next few months! This blog will showcase events, interviews, and TONS of other awesome things that will keep you chomping at the bit for more! Look for our booth at a Warped Tour stop near you! We'll have tons of giveaway and benefit raffle tickets to sell! Please leave us comments and stories - we love hearing from you all!

Who are we?

Meredith Rebar - Community Income Development Specialist for the American Cancer Society and founder of the Music for Hope Program. Many years prior to joining the ACS team, Meredith began her own music production company called Cherry Darling Productions. This company specialized in showcasing music, bands, art, photography and hosting numerous shows all over Pennsylvania. Successfully organizing and running hundreds of shows over the last five years, Cherry Darling Productions is still a powerhouse amongst many Pennsylvania production companies. Cherry Darling has since joined the fight for a cure and is now synonymous with Music For Hope.

Katie Hewko - Blog Organizer and Street Team/Promotions Member for the Music for Hope Program. Most recently, Katie has also joined the Community Income Development team. Her affinity for music has allowed her to hear and meet many different artists. She serves as an aid to Cherry Darling and Music For Hope.
